Chief Operating Officer

An accomplished leader with a background in protein engineering and computational biology, Benjamin brings over a decade of experience leading teams to the successful conception, development and launch of products in cell and gene therapy markets. Before joining Mekonos, Benjamin led the mammalian biology division at Inscripta, Inc. Prior to that he has served in various leadership roles at MilliporeSigma/Merck KGaA, Berkeley Lights, Agilent Technologies, and was a co-founder of Nanopore Diagnostics. Benjamin holds a PhD in Biology and Biomedical Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Washington University’s Olin School of Business.
